Yeah, I've tried to mess with bumping Hadoop before and it was not a good use 
of anyone's time, so I'll keep my grubby mitts off it.

I'll put together a tightly-scoped package of minor/micro bumps leaving out 
Hadoop and Lucene. If you could make me a ticket, I would appreciate that.
