I'll do the VER, cleanup, and test stuff.
About "simple completion feature", I did a post on the Jena list in a general
indifference :(

Then recently I discovered the possibility to add a * after a word beginning,
like

in the failing test for Lucene 6.2.1 .
But I need more tests for that, then I'll write an issue if necessary.
