As noted on email, tools like {{sed}} can provide the necessary processing.
Closing because this seems to be a discussion from email.
Please do not add labels such as "patch" or "easyfix" without evidence.
No patch has been provided - the flag "patch" is not appropriate. Open source
works by contribution. See
