Seems to be specific to SPARQL query commands like "arq" and "sparql".
{{"riot --output jsonld"}} works as does {{"riot --syntax jsonld"}}.
{{"sparql --results=jsonld 'CONSTRUCT WHERE {}'"}} does not.
