neumarcx commented on issue #568: Add Aggregate Median to SPARQL ARQ syntax URL: https://github.com/apache/jena/pull/568#issuecomment-497436282 I've received confirmation from the [Apache Commons Math mailing](http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/commons-user/201905.mbox/browser) list that this might actually not be the best use case for Apache Commons Math lib as things stand. That said I did further tests and see only little difference in performance on the staging server. My custom implementation might actually be a little more memory efficient than the Apache Commons Math lib. I will now update the fork with my own code and replace the dependency to Apache Commons Math. But I will continue to explore Apache Commons Math for more advanced features to included they propose for this summer. for details see mailing list.
