Jared Whiklo commented on JENA-2076:
------------------------------------
Okay, sorry if I'm a little slow on the uptake.
When you say pruning is cautious, does that mean you will be removing the
application/turtle in a future release?
We use Jena to parse our RDF and will be removing support for the
application/x-turtle, but were just checking on application/turtle as a
supported mime-type.

> Project: Apache Jena
> Issue Type: Improvement

> Affects Versions: Jena 3.17.0

> Jena should only ask for MIME types by proper name (client, asking with
> "Accept")
> Several alternative Content-Types are supported e.g. "x-*" in responding to
> content negotiation (i.e. server side).
> The standards defining the correct MIME type have been around for several
> years now so prune the alternatives and check only standard forms are asked
> for.
