{{Hex.formatUnsignedLongHex}} formats a long as hex digits into a byte array.
It is used in the xloader (formerly "TDB1, tdbloader2").
Changing the implementation to process the hex digits in forward (high-to-low)
order,there is better performance, possibly due to "mechanical sympathy" with
the compiler or CPU caches.
