Aayush Yadav commented on JENA-2244:
------------------------------------

Hi, Yes sorry for the confusion. I meant while reading literal nodes from the
node table and getting their lexical form, I'm encountering extra characters
(these are the unicode characters). This happens sometimes, not every time. So
just wanted to check are there any markers that are added when a node is
deleted?

> Hello,
> This is just a query regarding how Jena handles deleted triples. They are not
> removed from the index when deleted so are there any markers added to the
> nodes to determine if the triples have been deleted? I did notice some "0x2d"
> unicode characters (and a few others) coming at readNodeFromTable() which
> were not added with the index. Are these the same markers?
> Some other characters that I noticed: "0x3f", "0x3a"
