Hello,
Frankly I don't understand this discussion:
- LOG (Upper Case) for static is the usual policy that is applied by all
of us since few time
- The guy named it LOGGER, what's the problem except that it does not
suit a particular taste ? :
- It is in UPPERCASE
- It is meaningful
- and if we don't like it, why just not merge it and rename the
variable ?
Finally, the guy here ( Benoit W.) contributed around 100 patches on this
version ! (many very precious),
do you think this kind of big discussion for a Variable naming without a
THANK YOU ! and a HELLO ! is a good way to encourage other contributors ?
I don't think so, and I disagree with such behaviour !
Regards
Philippe
