Why is that? Surely the mails will still reach people on Monday? It's a bit different when doing a press announcement; some days are better than others. If you want to do a press announcement then contact Sally *before* sending any emailed announcement. Note that it can take several days to get the announcement text together, so it may not be possible to announce for a week or so. > On Saturday, February 10, 2018, Milamber <milam...@apache.org> wrote: > >> >> >> On 10/02/2018 07:59, Philippe Mouawad wrote: >> >>> Hello Milamber, >>> What do you think of delaying announce to monday ? >>> >> >> Why? >> >> >>> Regards >>> >>> On Sat, Feb 10, 2018 at 8:56 AM, Milamber <milam...@apache.org> wrote: >>> >>> Hello, >>>> >>>> Thanks very much to all who voted for this release. >>>> >>>> The votes were as follows: >>>> >>>> === +1 vote (with *: binding) === >>>> >>>> Maxime Chassagneux (mchassagneux) >>>> Andrey Pokhilko (undera) >>>> UBIK LOAD PACK Support >>>> Antonio Gomes Rodrigues (agomes)* >>>> NaveenKumar Namachivayam >>>> Philippe Mouawad (pmouawad)* >>>> Felix Schumacher (fschumacher)* >>>> Bruno Demion (milamber)* >>>> >>>> === >>>> >>>> There were no other votes, so the vote passes. >>>> >>>> I will prepare the delivery of release for having an official announce >>>> after the mirrors sync. >>>> >>>> Milamber >>>> >>>> >>>> On 07/02/2018 07:53, Milamber wrote: >>>> >>>> Hello, >>>>> >>>>> The seventh release candidate for JMeter 4.0 (r1823414) has been >>>>> prepared, and your votes are solicited. >>>>> >>>>> This release brings a new default theme (Darcula), support for Java 9, >>>>> 74 >>>>> enhancements (new features and improvements), and 26 bug fixes. >>>>> >>>>> Please, test this release candidate (with load tests and/or functional >>>>> tests) using Java 8 or 9 on Linux/Windows/Mac OS, especially on the >>>>> changes.
