In my experience, Darklaf has quite a number of demo classes, and it is often possible to create an isolated example. For example, I've filed this case as https://github.com/weisJ/darklaf/issues/123 Even though Jannis is extremely fast at UI, you might try selecting colors on your own. If you clone JMeter and Darklaf repositories side by side, then you would be able to launch JMeter as ./gradlew runGui -PlocalDarklaf It would build Darklaf from sources, so you could make changes to Darklaf and see how it works with JMeter.
