Hello,With Vladimir, after release of 5.6.1, we want start to prepare the next major version of JMeter (probably 6.0) with the removal of Java 8 support (EOL March 2025)
And move to Java 11 or later as supported runtime.We want "announce" this on v5.6.1 changes page, and in the announcement for version 5.6.1 (to prepare the community for this change).
I will prepare the RC2 tomorrow, so any opinion are welcome before the RC2. Milamber
