Ok, created a build in Jenkins and after a few attempts, looks like it is building and deploying. Now let's see if tomorrow it runs by itself (used @daily for the cron config).
Here is the build. I had to add a settings to configure the staging repo for the spec until VOTE passes. I have fired up a new build and I'll be monitoring. -- Jean-Louis Monteiro http://twitter.com/jlouismonteiro http://www.tomitribe.com On Tue, Oct 1, 2019 at 10:13 AM Romain Manni-Bucau <rmannibu...@gmail.com> wrote: > +1 if you can setup a nightly (whatever it means for ASF ;)) deployment on > our snapshot repo > > Also sounds like travis is not really something we need to keep, i'll keep > the thread for a few days (likely no more than this week) otherwise we'll > drop it (guess you want to do it Markus?) > > Romain Manni-Bucau > @rmannibucau <https://twitter.com/rmannibucau> | Blog > <https://rmannibucau.metawerx.net/> | Old Blog > <http://rmannibucau.wordpress.com> | Github < > https://github.com/rmannibucau> | > LinkedIn <https://www.linkedin.com/in/rmannibucau> | Book > < > https://www.packtpub.com/application-development/java-ee-8-high-performance > > > > > Le mar. 1 oct. 2019 à 09:59, Jean-Louis Monteiro <jlmonte...@tomitribe.com > > > a écrit : > > > I may have enough permissions on Jenkins to help > > -- > > Jean-Louis Monteiro > > http://twitter.com/jlouismonteiro > > http://www.tomitribe.com > > > > > > On Mon, Sep 30, 2019 at 8:46 AM Romain Manni-Bucau < > rmannibu...@gmail.com> > > wrote: > > > > > Just to clarified, it is not my decision ;). > > > > > > Now the point of this thread is that contributors dont use travis - it > is > > > broken since months and we didnt get any report before your PR and > seems > > > you dont use it too (or I misunderstood the answer in the PR), this is > > why > > > I'm enclined to just drop it and it does not prevent contributors to > use > > > travisci/circileci/semaphoreci/... if desired in their fork anyway. > > > > > > Le lun. 30 sept. 2019 à 08:39, Markus Karg <k...@quipsy.de> a écrit : > > > > > > > Romain, > > > > I do respect your decision not to put credentials (even encrypted) on > > > > Travis. > > > > Certainly you then loose a great Travis feature: Every contributor > (not > > > > just registered Jenkins users) can have automatic build of each build > > of > > > > their fork using Travis. 😊 > > > > A nightly snapshot using Jenkins would be fine, at least. 😊 > > > > -Markus > > > > > > > > -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- > > > > Von: Romain Manni-Bucau <rmannibu...@gmail.com> > > > > Gesendet: Montag, 30.
