sorry guys, I have been away for a few days so didn't get a chance to reply.
I think we can go quickly here and fix those very trivial issues that static
analysis tools can find (and fix) easily.
Using FindBugs maven plugin would be good, [~maxthomas], if you have a patch /
PR go ahead and submit it.
[~lewismc] it seems the INFRA ticket has been closed as won't fix for now as we
didn't reply in time :(
