Just an update on the Petstore numbers after my fix to each_line,
Charles discovery last week, and Bill's var-branch.
MRI:

JRuby before:

So we are absolutely improving. On the other hand, there still seems to be
something really strange going on. These improvements _should_ have been larger.
Wee need to find the mystery here.
