Hi,
Charles asked for people to chip in, and I had plenty of time, and
thought I might be useful (or useless, whichever).
As unprecedented with anything, I will probably start from the head of
the JIRA list with the unassigned problems, which in this case is the
1382 concurrency issue.
When I checked-out the trunk, I noticed in docs/getting_involved.html a
reference to setting up the sandbox:
<quote>
the first thing you should do is create a working sandbox and make sure
you can compile and run JRuby. See {getting a working sandbox} for more
information on this.
</quote>
There is no such document or reference within the trunk nor could I find
anything on the web. Is there anything in particular I should know, or
should I just squeeze it into my own favourite IDE?
Just squeeze it in, and if you'd like to take some brief notes on the
process of getting up and running it could probably become a better
"getting involved" document.
There's currently project files for Eclipse and NetBeans 6, so if you're
using either of those you should just be able to open the project and
start working.
