cool, thanks Pete Just want to say something while I'm thinking about it... when someone mentions "speed" in the context of a JRuby conversation, I point out the benefits of the long running process and some of the numbers that have been reported there... but the one point I remind people of is the fact that this impl has rocketed to it's current state!
When I think about JRuby and speed, I think of the tremendous gains having been made since even a year ago... truly amazing in my book.
