Various tests on the rendered outcome of a set of actions are failing in JRuby
while passing in Ruby.
The culprit is '\r' a character not recognized in the standard Ruby
implementation.
Being that JRuby is suppose to be a Java implementation of Ruby, and should
there in be an exact duplicate, it is justified that this oversight be corrected
