Hi, I was excited to see JRuby 1.1 released and downloaded it at the first time. However it is so disappointed to me that JRuby 1.1 is not working with my IBM JDK at all. SUN JDK is not an option for me. And JRuby 1.0.3 is the sweetheart for IBM JDK and we really have had good time. However, since I made great expectation for JRuby 1.1 due to its performance improvement and 1.8.6 compatible promise, I was really surprised and turned down to see JRuby 1.1 only working with SUN JDK. Did anyone else encounter the same problem? I almost could not believe what I've seen.
I've tried both IBM JDK 5.0 and 6.0 on SuSE 10.1 and Gentoo, "ant test" has never passed. But SUN JDK passed without any problem whatever 5.0 or 6.0. Best Regards, Song Ma
