Time Zone "MET" maps to Asia/Tehran
-----------------------------------
Key: JRUBY-2759
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/JRUBY-2759
Project: JRuby
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Miscellaneous
Affects Versions: JRuby 1.1.2
Environment: Environment variable "TZ" set to "MET"
Reporter: Joern Hartmann
If you set the TZ environment variable to "MET" - Middle European Time (which
is supposed to be an equivalent to CET - Central European Time) jruby
incorrectly maps it to the Asia/Tehran time zone. This gives you an additional
time shift of 2.5h. It's rather a bug in the joda time library but I file it
here to draw the attention on this bug as it affects jruby.
