Not at all during this work. And during the future "2.0" work, we'll do "new JI" in parallel to "old JI" and try to incorporate the same features. However I would expect that eventually JavaObject/JavaClass/JavaField/JavaMethod, etc, will go away in favor of you just calling normal Java reflection APIs through Ruby yourself.
