I think we need to start monitoring Rails edge a bit more closely. The
following commit, several months ago, introduced a breakage into Rails
2.1.1:

I already talked to Jeremy about it and he's going to modify it to use
the old way under JRuby. We may also be able to modify JRuby to support
this case in addition to the each_object(Class) case. But ultimately we
(as in JRuby core or Rails core) should have caught this before it was
released.
Nick, did you have any special way of setting up the Rails tests? Do we
have targets for pulling/running them? That would probably be the
easiest way to get them set up in a CI build.
Anyone else with suggestions on how to keep Rails and other Ruby
projects running 100%, please jump in.
