Oh - also: how do you use/start/initialize JRuby?
Maybe there's something wrong there. How about you try and get JRuby to
evaluate "1+1" or "puts 42" just to see that it works;
once that works, take one of your .rb files, add it to the $LOAD_PATH,
load it and see what happens, etc etc.
