I want to clean up a few things in 1.3 that have stubbornly stuck with us.
1. Update to BSF 2.4.0 for build/test but no longer ship BSF in binary releases.
Presumably most people using BSF have their own copy, or can easily grab one. The version we had been shipping was old and crusty, and very few people ever used it.
2. Remove all vestiges of Java 1.4 support, including retroweaver, collections APIs, and appropriate ant tasks.
This has never been officially supported and when we've asked nobody has said they're using it or would be willing to maintain it.
3. Formally pin our shipped rake and rspec releases to specific versions, rather than "whatever is out there".
We would keep those gems in our repository so we know exactly which version we're shipping with a given release.
