We still need to circle back to the installer question soon, but I
thought of something today...why couldn't we spin an installer that
bundles a build of MLVM, the experimental openjdk branch with full
invokedynamic support?
For folks running JRuby standalone, it would be an easy way to get
them on to the absolute bleeding edge of everything. And as the
Hotspot guys get invokedynamic running faster and faster, JRuby+MLVM
is probably going to be pretty sweet.
Would anyone out there be interested in installer bundles for
JRuby+MLVM or just MLVM alone?
