The numbers in the post are almost certainly not using -server and they only
iterate once. I added numbers for -server on Java 6 32-bit with 5 iterations,
and although we're quite a bit faster on the "general" deep copy, we're slower
than 1.9 on the "specific" deep copy. See my comment on that post (assuming it
has been approved).
