Hi Brian,

rc2 was the tag voted upon, which eventually became 2.10.0, but I think
you're right, having a 2.10.0 is to be expected. I'll rename rc2 in a while
and, for further releases I'm thinking it will be better to create an X.Y.Z
tag, renaming it to X.Y.Z-rcA if the vote doesn't succeed
