Since this would be a one-time import activity from a legacy application
it would seem this much more appropriate to create a standalone app rather
than add more code to JSPWiki. It would also be much simpler, as it would
convert the Snip-Snap data into files that could be imported by an admin
into an existing JSPWiki deployment.

             Project: JSPWiki
          Issue Type: New Feature
          Components: Core & storage
            Reporter: Janne Jalkanen
            Priority: Minor
             Fix For: 3.0.0, STRIPES/JCR-3.1

It would be very nice to be able to import markup from the SnipSnap engine, now
that it's development has been ceased. This could either take the form of a
SnipSnapMarkupParser, or a separate application.
This task is here so that people can grab it at will - you don't really have to
know much about JSPWiki innards to start contributing converters.
