The class Javadoc of PageProvider asked to leave the unused methods "do something useful". This says what that means, based on what AbstractFileProvider does for getAllChangedSince, getVersionHistory and deleteVersion: a provider has to implement every method, and for the ones it has no use for it behaves as if there was nothing to report (an empty collection, a history with only the latest version, no effect for a version that is not kept).
