Hi all, JSPWIKI-501 (search cannot find terms with underscores) still reproduces on master with LuceneSearchProvider and the default ClassicAnalyzer. With a page named Page_WithUnderscore, searching for Page_WithUnderscore, snake_case_term, Page* or WithUnderscore finds it, but Page_* and snake_* find nothing. The likely reason, which I did not verify in the index, is that the analyzer splits the name at the underscore and wildcard terms are not analyzed.
I see two options. Making the underscore part of the tokens in the analyzer fixes it but changes the indexing of every page and needs a reindex. Rewriting the wildcard term before the query is smaller but returns more results than asked for. Which one would you prefer, or is there a third?
