Arturo Bernal commented on JSPWIKI-374:
---------------------------------------
Read in the current master (3.0.1-SNAPSHOT), not run. I did not find a property
or a filter hook to validate the names of pages when they are created or
renamed. The only checks I found are fixed ones in DefaultPageManager, which
throw 'Illegal page name' for empty or null names. I did not check whether a
page filter could reject a name in the pre-save phase.

> Project: JSPWiki
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: Core & storage
> Affects Versions: 2.6.3
> Reporter: Jürgen Weber
> Priority: Major
>
> There should be a way to activate filters for page names in
> jspwiki.properties.
> On page creation and rename the filter would be asked if the new name is OK.
> The subversionprovider has problems with spaces or umlauts in page names, a
> page name filter could prevent this.
