Alex O'Ree commented on JUDDI-932:
----------------------------------

UDDI is a supplement to WSDL, not a replacement for it. You're still going to
need the wsdl for the client and service to work and talk to each other.

You can import a WSDL file into UDDI, but basically all it does is map some of
the basic information into the UDDI registry (see
https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/uddi-spec/doc/tn/uddi-spec-tc-tn-wsdl-v2.htm).
It saves you some time typing the information in manually.

> Hello,
> I have a question regarding to web service process and uddi.
> As we know that wsdl is stored in UDDI as a service, i want to know how do
> you use the service in web service process?
> because apparently soap server can not read the service detail xml.
> Thank you.
