3.5.1 will be a bug fix release which also addresses some of the CVEs such as CVE-2023-34455 [1] in snappy-java. If all goes smoothly, I am estimating a release date in the 3rd or 4th week of July. I will continue to post important updates on the mailing list and you can also follow the progress on the release plan wiki above. *Call for action* 📢 If you think that a commit from the trunk should be backported to 3.5.1, please let me know. Note that we usually backport only the critical bug fixes which don't have a production work around and security fixes.
