I was just looking into Jira, and there is only 13 tickets with "fixed
version" 3.9.2, and not all are even resolved yet.
Is it worth at this point, to do a release? Is any of these of high
significance?
Also not sure, if we did a good job cherry-picking fixes to 3.9 branch?
Might be valuable to go over Jira to see if there is more candidates for
cherry-picking to make it worth the work to do a release?
Overall +1, but not worth doing for just a few bug fixes?

Hi Chia-Ping,
I’m interested in the 3.9.2 Release Manager role.
If there no other volunteers, I can handle it.
Thank you,

hi all,
The 3.9 branch holds a special significance for Kafka users, so I'd like to
kick off the next release - 3.9.2 - as there are users who expecting it,
such as [0]
Anyone interested in volunteering as the Release Manager for 3.9.2 can
refer to the 3.9.1 release plan [1] for more details.
