You mean 2026?

We already got 4.2 and 4.3 for 2026 if we want to have 4.4 to be last release
this year we need to push it to Oct 2026 and this will get 4.5 to be in Jan 2027

> Curious to hear what Omnia as RM thinks.

I can see two options here:
1. Delay 4.4 by few weeks with 3+2+4
KIP freeze        =                                                 8th July
2026 (2nd Wed)
Feature freeze = KIP freeze        + 3 weeks == 29th July 2026
Code freeze     = Feature freeze + 2 weeks == 12th Aug 2026
Release target = Code freeze     + 4 weeks == 9th Sep 2026

And remember to push 4.5 KIP freeze is Q4/2026 and release target in Q1/2027.

2. Push 4.4 to be the last release in 2026 by target Oct for release target
with 3+3+4 only for this one— This means KIP freeze start end of July 2026

KIP freeze       =                                                  29th July
2026
Feature freeze = KIP freeze          + 3 weeks == 19th Aug 2026
Code freeze     = Feature freeze + 3 weeks == 9th Sep 2026
Release target = Code freeze     + 4 weeks == 7th Oct 2026

I know it is very big shift from initial plan but I am more leaning into having
4.4’s release target to be pushed toward early week of Oct 2026 and this will
push the entire process by a month naturally for future releases.
Then 4.5 KIP freeze start some point from late Q4 2026 (late Oct / Early Nov)
and target release in Q1/2027

What everyone think?
