This breaks the expected gradlew contract, and makes for a poor user
experience. Every other project I've run into containing a gradlew script
"just works". If a user has to follow the steps as provided by
[[email protected]] above, there is very little point in gradlew, and having
to switch Gradle versions for a specific project is very invasive to an
existing developer environment.
