@Toni: Mhm I think this should be possible. @Karaf-Guys: How do you feel about implementing the FrameworkFactory for Karaf and making Karaf itself an OSGi-Framework for pax-exam2? I think a simple alternative solution could be to provide an karaf-kick-starter which actually implements FrameworkFactory but downloads the latest apache-karaf.zip/tar.gz, unpacks it and kickstarts it? WDYT?
