Oh, I didn't see this email -- I just commented in JIRA.  Not important at all, 
but my thinking was that negative numbers are on top while positive numbers are 
on bottom.  (Hmmm, I'm a Yankee, you two are Austrian and French -- I wonder if 
our different perspectives are related to the spine titling difference between 
our lands: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bookbinding#Spine_titling  :).
