IMHO would be great.
I don't know the complete extend of the issue (having a jre property file)
Why do karaf need jre.properties?
Keeping in mind that I don't understand all what's going on: I've just
checked out Karaf 2.3.x from the branch and copied jre.properties (jre8 was
there!) on my Kara2.3.0-release\etc\jre.properties and I got an exception.
(below you will find and excerpt)
If jre.default was present I would incur in this exception yesterday.
On the other side I'm right here to bother you with this jdk-early-access
boring questions ^_^
