I just also checked on my mobile (Samsung S4) and indeed the site is not correct. I think the reason is not the layout though. The menu is present and works but it is moved to the right out of sight. The horizontal size is to big because of the karaf architecture image further down. So for phones we will need to make sure the graphics are not too large.

Hi Morgan,
I just tried it on my phone and it seems ... how to say ... less readable
then the current site. Also the navigation does not seem to work at all on
my phone. I'll try to check it out on my laptop soon and provide more
feedback.

Best,
Milen

Hi JB, Achim,

Thank you both.
Yes it is indeed by intention.
If you have better colors or anything , just let me know. I can try-out
your way and share to see if it looks better.

Regards,
Morgan

Hi Morgan,

thanks for the input. I like the look and feel,
Just one question: Is it by intention that the menu section and the Image
section below do have different "shades" of blue?

regards, Achim

Hi Morgan
Interesting job.
For all, please, don't focus on the content, just the look'n feel. I'm
working on the content for both website and documentation.

Subject: [PROPOSAL/DISCUSSION] Apache Karaf new website

Hello,

Some of you might be knowing it, some of you might not but I have been
working on a new look&feel for the Karaf website.
I'm not a web developer so I have done my best to craft a new website
proposal.
I have used HTML, CSS and the Bootstrap 3 framework.

Here is the magic link: http://mhautman.com/karaf-site/

I have also tried to incorporate the new asciidoc manual(html) in the
website but honestly this is a real pain, if someone got a easy solution
for this. Please let me know otherwise I will just make it open in a new
tab.
Here is what I mean with incorporate:

Any comments, hints, tips is more then welcome, so please shoot!

Regards,
Morgan
