Good point, it makes sense.

I was planning a 4.0.4 release for end of this week or beginning of next one. As we are not in a rush, let's do like this: branching just after 4.0.4 release.

Non at all,

maybe doing a 4.0.4 release on master before branching might also be a good
point in time to get that started?

Hi all,

I have some changes on local branches that I want to push. I will do it
today, and so, I will create the karaf-4.0.x branch tonight.

Any objection ?

JB

I'd like to start the discussion around moving forward to Karaf 4.1.
I propose we create a 4.x maintenance branch and move master to
4.1-SNAPSHOT.

This will allow introducing important dependencies upgrades such as:
    * pax-web 6.x
    * sshd 1.0
    * support for narayana transaction manager
    * JDK 8
    * ... name it ...
The above list is obviously subject to discussion...

Thoughts ?
