thanks for this hint,... this i tried out and it was working fine till now
but now i cutomized the Java Code in the logappender java-file of the collector as a feature and now the custom field is blank all the time therefor i'm searching to overwrite only the hostname of the Karaf runtime to seperate my log-messages -- Sent from: http://karaf.922171.n3.nabble.com/Karaf-Dev-f930721.html
