Hi All

I will be starting discussion threads for each of the CHAOSS metrics as we go
through the process of reviewing them against what we have in Kibble.

Although not exactly the first one on the CHAOSS list - I am starting with this
one and it is called Types of Contribution. You can find more details about
this metric at https://chaoss.community/metric-types-of-contributions/

This metric is about identifying the different types of contribution
contributors to a community make. This includes things like reporting bugs,
marketing, event management, testing, responding to people on mailing list,
coding as well as non coding contributions.

The CHAOSS team include an example list of potential contributions to track.

In my intitial wiki page comment
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/KIBBLE/Review+Kibble+Against+CHAOSS+Metrics

In the comment column for Types of Contribution I noted that Kibble does track
code and non code contributions such as issue tracking, mailing list
interactions.

My suggested approach would be:
- List each of the contribution types that we have
- Provide a short description of it
- Provide a screenshot from Kibble showing how the metric is displayed

We can use Wiki to onsolidate the information. Perhaps add a extra column to
the wiki page linking to the additional detail?

I have suggested to the CHAOSS team that once we pull together our details
around a metric, we can share and discuss it with them.

Are people happy with this or does anyone have any other ideas or comments that
could help us progress this.

Thanks
Sharan
