I have been exploring the possibility of upgrading Quarkus to the latest LTS version, 3.8.x, as the current 3.2.x version is nearing the end of its support period according to the Quarkus LTS policy [1]. After overcoming some initial challenges and thanks to the excellent collaboration with Luca and Pere, I am now confident that this upgrade is feasible and will cause minimal disruption to the codebase.
