Hi William, Thank you for sharing your intention to fork Dashbuilder. Technically speaking, under the ASLv2 license, this is entirely permissible, and we appreciate you giving the community a heads-up. If you proceed, please remember that a distinct brand name would be necessary. However, considering the current activity level around Dashbuilder, it raises a larger question: what’s the long-term vision for this project within Apache KIE? Dashbuilder is an asset, yet it’s clear the component isn’t receiving the attention it needs. Instead of a fork, could relocating Dashbuilder in its entirety be a viable alternative? Perhaps a different home could provide the resources and dedication needed to help it flourish. I’d love to hear thoughts from other community members. How do you envision Dashbuilder future, and what level of commitment could be invested? Looking forward to a lively discussion.
