There has been a growing number of community members [1][2][3][4]
either explicitly seeking commercial support or misinterpreting
community-driven efforts as commercial offerings. This confusion
creates inefficiencies for both users and contributors, leading to
repeated clarifications and misaligned expectations.

To address this, I'm proposing to add a dedicated section on the KIE
website, similar to Apache Camel’s approach [5][6], clearly outlining
how to engage with the community for support.

By doing this, we can better serve both open-source users and
businesses that rely on KIE technologies while reducing unnecessary
friction in support channels. I’d appreciate feedback on this proposal
and thoughts on how we can move forward with implementation.

Best,
Alex
