With this change these are the results I'm seeing
testWebHdfsUploadLargeFile
Before: total=16471, min=624, max=1318, avg=823.550000, iter=20, size=10485760
After: total=13312, min=504, max=1531, avg=665.600000, iter=20, size=10485760
20% Improvement
testWebHdfsDownloadLargeFile
Before: total=8694, min=375, max=607, avg=434.700000, iter=20, size=10485760
After: total=6014, min=251, max=402, avg=300.700000, iter=20, size=10485760
32% Improvement
