Tanping Wang commented on KNOX-567:
-----------------------------------
[~sumit.gupta] By looking at KNOX-580, it looks like you have refactor the HA
dispatcher for every component. Now it is not just limited to only support
HDFS. Do we expect this Default Dispatcher to support all components including
HBase and Hive HA? This is what we are looking at right now. If the basics
area already supported, we could look into more. We have a plan of code
refactoring a bit around the HA dispatcher work.

> Currently Knox only provides limited support of high availability to the
> Hadoop ecosystem, i.e. Knox supports only high availability for webHDFS. We
> need to make Knox supports Yarn, HDFS, Hive and HBase high availability as
> well. Especially after Knox supports Hadoop ecosystem UIs, having Knox
> supports at least the HA mode of Hadoop, Hive and HBase becomes even more
> critical.
