I'm not an expert on Titan or Janus. I mostly just followed the controversy.
But yes: It seems as if Titan is basically dead and while people still use it
today I expect the majority to migrate to Janus at some point (especially when
IBM starts shipping it in its Hadoop distribution). So to now target "Titan"
feels wrong to me. I'd go for Janus. But as I said: I'm not an active user
myself.
