There have been a number of inquiries into making the idle timeout configurable
rather than requiring the default timeout period for jetty.
One such usecase is for tuning the available connection in beeline when
connected to HS2 through Knox. It currently times out at 1 min.
While extending this period may create additional problems, it may provide a
fine tuning capability for folks that need it.
